Little J,
Thank you for coming to the 1 year anniversary dinner honoring my dad, Bond Jobie. He would have loved you and would have been so happy to see you with your mom. You know my niece Tracy and my nephew Stan are adopted and my dad couldn't have loved them more if they were his true bloodline. Tracy and Stan were with him when he died and I'm sure it gave him the comfort and confidence to go...release...transition! I didn't make it in time. Something that I still "deal with'. ..but I'm sure he knows that I would have been there if could.
My dad loved your mom and dad and he would be so happy to know that you found one another. Family is not always defined by bloodlines as much as love. Always remember that! The people who love you and want the best life for you will always be your family. I've posted a picture of my dad in his "stud" years....a time he always felt he was in until the day he died. Next to him is my mom...who never knew your parents but who would have LOVED them if she had met them.
See you soon Little J!
Love. Auntie JJ

Auntie J,
How I wish I had known your Mother and Father. My Mommy and Daddy loved your Father,(unfortunatley they never knew your Mother) they say he was a great man! I imagine he would have taught me many things, including "dos margaritos."
My Mother tells me your were a wonderful daughter to your parents and that you made them both very proud. I believe everything my Mommy says, so I know it is true. My Mom thought about naming me after your Father and really loved the name "Bond." So you know, I do have a special connection with your Father and he is looking down at all of us...smiling!
I love you Auntie J.
