Come Out Come Out Wherever You Are!

Kiska-o,

No more Hide and Seek. We'll play that when you get home to California. You need to let your new parents (Nicole and Jesse) find you at their 3:00pm appointment, Monday, September 1, 2008 at the SDA in Kiev. You can do it! This is the last struggle you'll have to do on your own. Once your parents find you, you will never be alone again. Even when you have things that you have to do or learn by yourself, they will always be there to help and support you.

You can do this!

Concentrate!

Three

Three is a very magical number. Today I’m starting a three day weekend, which is always a good thing! Did you know that the Earth is the third planet from the Sun? There are three primary colors, three stooges, three little pigs, three bears, three amigos, three Musketeers three wishes... and soon a family of three...you and your new mom and dad!

You need to know that your mom is a numbers person. She has a feel for which numbers work for her and which don't. She likes the number 3 a lot...so I'm thinking this is a very good thing....because Monday at 3:00 your Mom and Dad are going to the SDA to try and find you again...so be ready! Reveal yourself Kiska-o. 3:00 is the magic time! I'm getting very anxious to meet you! I've attached a picture of myself so you know who I am when you land in Los Angeles...and so your parents...who have been gone so long trying to find you...remember what I look like!!!

And I'm not upset that you weren't found in August...although it is the best month. I know that in August your mom and dad landed in the Ukraine and that was the first time the three of you were in the same country together. It's the start...now you just need to get together in the same place. It starts with your paperwork and that starts at 3:00 on Monday!

3:00...make a mental note!

Paper Trail

Kiska-o,

Your mom and dad are bogged down in paperwork. It's nothing new, The road to you is paved with paperwork and more paperwork! It's a very difficult thing but it's just part of what they are going through to get to you. They may not get to another appointment until next week...so don't show yourself just yet. I'll let you know! I was hoping it would be by August 25th...but you will have your own day of discovery...and that's OK by me. Say focused little Kiska-o...stay positive.

Another Rescue

Kiska-o,

I had to rescue another Mouse today! Riley C Kitty brought me a mouse and deposited it on the doorstep. I thanked him very much (because you see in cat terms he thought he was doing a very good thing) and made him come inside. I thought the mouse was dead, so I made sure Sophie did not go out the front door because she didn't need mouse for lunch! I waited a while then when out to move him and the most miraculous thing happened. The mouse, who must have been playing possum, got up and ran off right in front of me! SAVED! He played dead so as not to attract attention to himself, then, when the coast was clear, he skedaddled home! Sophie never even knew he was there! Earlier I had to rescue a lizard from Tessie. She was really just playing with him, but I could tell he'd had enough. Rescuing the lizard was harder because I really don't like to pick lizards up. But I did it and just in time because Sophie was on the prowl for a snack! And the really remarkable thing is that while this was happening I was on the phone with your mom, talking to her like she was here in Glendale but really she is in the Ukraine still trying to find you! The world is a big place little Kiska-o, but sometimes it's just a blink away.

You may be playing possum too...hiding a bit so that scary things don't happen to you. But your mom and dad aren't scary...so you need to show them where you are. They will only be scary when your mom wants you to run around the Rose Bowl with her and your dad wants you to pick up your room to his standards. But when that happens...just call me!

If I could, I'd send Riley C. Kitty or Tessie May to find you (cats are very smart and very good at finding things)...or even the Soph (don't worry...she'd never eat you!) because she is a hound dog and they are also good at sniffing things out...but it would take too long to get them through quarantine...so you have to be found by your mom and dad. I think this next week is going to be a turning point in that search, so show yourself! And if kiska really means kitten, then you should be good at finding things too. I've posted a picture of your mom and dad so you'll recognize them...so keep an eye out. Tuesday the search begins again!

Positive Energy

Kiska-o,

Your parents are struggling trying to find you. You need to concentrate really REALLY hard so that they are led in your direction. All of us here in the US (England and Canada) are concentrating too...but we need you to work with us...work with us!! We know you are out there! Your mom and dad are exhausted right now. The emotional aspect of the actual search for you is overwhelming. Can't you feel them calling out for you? They are there...in the Ukraine trying to find you! Reveal yourself! And if you don't have pity for them have pity for ME! I have paint brushes ready! I need to know which direction to take!

Most important...your parents need to find you! Your mom is VERY inpatient! So give her a clue to who you are! Don't be scared. Your destiny awaits you and you need to grab on to it! I'm guessing your astrological sign is Taurus... because you are being stubborn and I know something about stubborn! But now is not the time. I've told your mom to relax and release (no easy task)...now I'm telling you! Listen to Auntie Janet!!! JUST DO IT!!

Focus...focus...focus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Day Has Come

Kiska-o,

Soon I will be able to call you by your real name...although you know you will always be Kiska-o in my heart! Your parents will not sleep tonight. Your grandma Sunny will not sleep tonight... and I will not sleep tonight. Some will say I'm not sleeping because I'm depressed and menopausal...which is true...but I think in this case, it's waiting for you! You may have had a rough start but you are about to have a great revival! Many people have not understood the process that your parents have gone through to find you. They have be critical and uncaring. I will steer you clear of those people. They will try and sway you with their good intentions now...but I won't let you be fooled! Those who always believed in you and your parents quest to find you as they continued to display excellence in everything else they were involved in, will always be there to help you through the challenges that await you as you travel to a new country and start a new life.

Don't be afraid little Kiska-o. Wonderful things are in store for you.

See you soon.

A Mouse Gets Rescued

Today your mom and dad are spending their last day in Italy before moving on to the Ukraine. Italy is one of the best places on earth and one day we will go there together. We may even take your mom and dad with us! I am totally jealous that they are there without me...but I am so very glad they are having a good time. Italy has a way of restoring your spirit and I think they needed that after dealing with the days/months/years working on and preparing for your arrival. It's so amazing that you're really only days away from meeting your new parents and in turn the rest of us in meeting you! Your mom told me I could go paint your room once she knows who you are, so it's all ready for you when you come home to California. I can't wait! I love to paint and decorate and I already have many possibilities in my head of what I can do to make your room special. And as you grow...if you don't like it...we'll paint it a different color. Some things can be fixed as easy as that! Some things take more work! It will be my birthday soon. I hope you and your parents meet by then. It would make that day even more special to me.

Today I am posting a picture of my cats...Riley C. Kitty, Tallulah Belle and Tessie May. Tallulah and Tessie had a mouse cornered in the kumquat tree that I had to rescue before Sophie had it for lunch! In a sense you are about to be rescued too. Your parents are on their way little Kiska-o. Get ready!

Party of One

OK...so the only people reading this blog are your mom and me...but no matter! We are fabulous and someday you will read it and be glad that we were crazy enough to write all this stuff down. Today was a very challenging day at work. I wonder why I am even there and continue to try so hard. But I need to work and I need a paycheck...so off I go each day. You will go to work someday as well. I hope that it is always something you love to do. On your mom and dad's blog site, many people have responded and wish your parents well on their journey to find you. So many people are awaiting your discovery and arrival in the USA. Don't be scared. Some of them are crazy...but most of them are fabulous! Of course none of them are as fabulous as me and my animals...but you must learn to me nice to all of them. They all are sending positive energy that you will be found in short order and brought back quickly! Get ready little Kiska-o. Life is about to change for you in the most wonderful way! I will respond from now on as Auntie JJ since you will have an official Auntie J (ordana).

Love,
Auntie JJ

Countdown

Kiska-o,

We're now in August and officially counting down to your discovery. We all wonder if you have any idea that your life is about to change. Every one of us has something that we are desperately hoping for. For some it's parents, others it's a child...for all of us it's the Lotto (you'll learn about this soon enough)...peace on earth...loosing a few pounds...making our billing goals...peace of mind...the list goes on and on. I hope that the thing you most want, whether you really know it or not, is about to happen to you.
Your new parents are THE BOMB! I can tell you that the search for you has not been an easy task. It has taken a long time....many tears have been shed...many forms have been filled out and then filled out again...many obstacles have been hurdled...and hurdled again. Some people have understood the process...some have not. But it's all worth it when it brings you together with your destiny.
Your new parents are busy making your new house safe for you. They worry about the stairs and the sharp corners and the things that can break. That's what parents do. Aunts, on the other hand, don't worry so much about that kind of stuff! My house is not kid proof but you will love it just the same! I have lots of stuff to look at and touch and even break if you want! You see if you break my souvenirs from Italy it just means I have to go back and get another one... and I love any excuse to go to Italy!! One day we'll go there together! Your parents are very neat and tidy. I am not! So when you come to my house we'll get dirty...we'll look at spiders (just don't tell your new dad)...we'll eat fast food (just don't tell your new mom)...we'll do all kinds of fun things! And I hope you like animals, because at my house the animals rule!!
August is a terrific month to meet your destiny. I met my parents in August and I can't think of any better birthday present than to have you and your new parents meet each other for the first time on August 25th! I wonder when your birthday is?! There is so much to wonder about you! But soon we will know each other. Let the discovery begin!
I am posting the Shrinky Dink button (something that I will show you how to do) that I made to countdown your arrival. We're all waiting patiently...or as patiently as we can to meet you! I hope you're ready to meet us!

Love-Auntie J
