Countdown

Kiska-o,

We're now in August and officially counting down to your discovery. We all wonder if you have any idea that your life is about to change. Every one of us has something that we are desperately hoping for. For some it's parents, others it's a child...for all of us it's the Lotto (you'll learn about this soon enough)...peace on earth...loosing a few pounds...making our billing goals...peace of mind...the list goes on and on. I hope that the thing you most want, whether you really know it or not, is about to happen to you.
Your new parents are THE BOMB! I can tell you that the search for you has not been an easy task. It has taken a long time....many tears have been shed...many forms have been filled out and then filled out again...many obstacles have been hurdled...and hurdled again. Some people have understood the process...some have not. But it's all worth it when it brings you together with your destiny.
Your new parents are busy making your new house safe for you. They worry about the stairs and the sharp corners and the things that can break. That's what parents do. Aunts, on the other hand, don't worry so much about that kind of stuff! My house is not kid proof but you will love it just the same! I have lots of stuff to look at and touch and even break if you want! You see if you break my souvenirs from Italy it just means I have to go back and get another one... and I love any excuse to go to Italy!! One day we'll go there together! Your parents are very neat and tidy. I am not! So when you come to my house we'll get dirty...we'll look at spiders (just don't tell your new dad)...we'll eat fast food (just don't tell your new mom)...we'll do all kinds of fun things! And I hope you like animals, because at my house the animals rule!!
August is a terrific month to meet your destiny. I met my parents in August and I can't think of any better birthday present than to have you and your new parents meet each other for the first time on August 25th! I wonder when your birthday is?! There is so much to wonder about you! But soon we will know each other. Let the discovery begin!
I am posting the Shrinky Dink button (something that I will show you how to do) that I made to countdown your arrival. We're all waiting patiently...or as patiently as we can to meet you! I hope you're ready to meet us!

Love-Auntie J
