We are all on pins and needles waiting for you little Kisko. I know your name...but it's not for me to reveal yet, so you're still little Kisko to me! Your mom came to dinner tonight. I could see her excitement. I could see her smile at the thought of you. After the struggle in the Ukraine to find you, it was good to see her smile. One of my favorite movies is the Wizard of Oz. One day we'll watch it together. I can sing all the songs. We cannot invite Aunt Anna. Not that we don't love her...but we can't have her singing. Know that up front. Anyway...in the Wizard of Oz Dorothy is looking for her hearts desire in a land far far away. At the end of the movie she realises that it was always waiting for her in her own backyard. That's sort of the way it's been with you. Your parents went to the Ukraine to find you when you've been cooking in Minnesota all the time. For us Californians Minnesota is almost as foreign as the Ukraine but it's a heck of a lot closer. And most likely they have a Target store...which, you will find, is a very important place! Sometimes in life you have to take the long road around to something but the long road teaches you so many things. I feel I've been on the long road most of my life!
There is a baby pool with everyone trying to guess when you'll be born. I picked January 7th at 5:30 am. I was born at around 5:30 am so that's why I picked that time. I picked January 7th because it just sounded good... but you come when you are ready. Don't let the rest of us push you around. That's the first lesson you need to learn in life...be true to yourself. Whatever day you are born is a good day. You decide...we'll deal with your decision. You will be born in the year of the rat... but don't worry! The rat gets a bum wrap. I had a pet rat one time. His name was Louie and he came when I whistled! Rats are very smart...so don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
My cousin Kevin just had a baby...Cambell Alexander Crosby...I'm sure you'll meet him. Kevin and Leslie asked me to be his godmother. Between this and your arrival, I am totally blessed! Of course I do need to have another lunch date and more with a man (the last one didn't pan out to well) but if I don't, at least I have my "kids"! We'll talk!
See you soon!
Love, Auntie JJ

Dinner was so much fun with Auntie Janet. Anna joined us too. It is funny because it will have been the last dinner Auntie Janet cooked for me at her house before your arrival. Next time she cooks for me, you will be with us and I will be a Mommy! Dinner was delicious and one thing you should know is that your Auntie Janet is a marvelous cook. Everything she cooks is delicious. I did not realize until your Auntie J menitoned that my smile gets soooo big when I mention you. The girls and I had a wonderful talk about you and reminised about the road your Daddy and I have traveled to be brought together with you. It certainly has been a journey and one day we will share it with you.
Your Auntie is on stand by to drive your Daddy and I to the airport as soon as we recieve the phone call. We are waiting and trying our best to keep ourselves busy so we don't go nuts!
Like your Auntie said, you will come when you are ready...just know we here and can not wait to be together with you!
