Are you "done" yet?

It's 2009...the year that you will be born! It's very exciting. I know it's very cold in Minnesota, where you will be born, but come on out! You will soon be coming to California and the weather here is much MUCH better!! Your mom and dad are just waiting for the call that you're on your way and I'm waiting for the call that they need the ride to the airport. We're all waiting on you...so hurry up!!
Now here's a secret that you need to keep from your mom and dad. You know they are very superstitious about buying anything for you until you are safely here...but I have bought you a bunch of stuff already. It's hidden in my extra closet...not so much from your parents as from Sophie...who already killed Santa this Christmas! You'll love Sophie...but you have to be very careful of your stuff around her. She likes to chew things up...especially when you least expect it... so keep your booties on at all times when you're around her. But don't worry...she won't chew you up. She'll just give you a huge, wet, sloppy basset hound lick. Maybe your mom will bring the stroller over once you get here and you can help me take Sophie and Jack for a walk. They would love to show you their "hood".
Finish up baking little Kisko and come out to play! We're all ready and waiting for you!

Love, Auntie JJ

Kisko...as you can see your Auntie Janet is just as excited for you to come as we are. She is has been right there with us every step of the way looking for you for a very long time.
Apparently she has told you your first secret and so far you have kept it safe.
You are going to be very lucky to have Auntie Janet in your life and the best thing is she only lives a few miles away. So you can play with her anytime. She is brilliant and very artisitc and will teach you so much. Sometimes Mommy might have drop you off at her house so she can help you with your homework.
Mommy will love to take you out in your stroller with Janet, Sophie and Jackson. We will have play dates with them all the time.
Mommy and Daddy want to thank your Auntie J for EVERTYHING she has done for us. She has exceeded any expectations we could have had of a friend. She has been there with us in great times and not so good times. She is the first to pick us up when we are down. She always knows just what to say. Auntie's like Auntie J are very rare. They just don't make them as SPECIAL as she. You are gonna love her just like we do.
